This year's College Bowl Team acted has the host to four other universities and competing teams during the 2008 IFTSA Southeast Division Area Meeting. The universities represented this year included:
Alabama A&M University
University of Georgia
University of Florida
Louisiana State University
Mississippi State University
During the Area Meeting, topics were discussed such as, "The Responsibilities of Area Representative" and "Successes and Struggles In Our Chapters". After the Area Meeting, the College Bowl Competition began, and after many grueling and close matches, the University of Georgia Bulldogs emerged victorious.
Though the competition was mentally taxing on all the participants, everyone had a fun time. Afterwards, several of the teams gathered for a post-competition get-together to learn more about one other and exchange thoughts. With this year's College Bowl Competition and Area Meeting in the books, everyone is already looking forward to next year's edition which will be hosted by the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL! |
